Agenda 2063 is the continent’s blueprint and master plan for transforming Africa into the global powerhouse of the future.
Agenda 2063 is the concrete manifestation of how the continent intends to achieve the Pan African Vision of an integrated, prosperous and peaceful Africa, driven by its own citizens, representing a dynamic force in the international arena within a 50-year period from 2013 to 2063.
The First Ten Year Implementation Plan of Agenda 2063, spanning from 2014 to 2023, outlines a set of goals, priority areas and targets that the continent aims to achieve at national, regional and continental levels.
Agenda 2063 also identifies key Flagship Programmes which can improve Africa’s economic growth and development and lead to the rapid transformation of the continent.
The First Ten-year Implementation Plan covers 7 Aspirations, 20 Goals, 13 Fast-Track Projects, 39 Priority Areas and 255 targets.
